Hengqin pilots IPR service platform

National intellectual property rights public service platform's (Hengqin) pilot platform of financial innovation, named Qixianqin, the first of its kind in China, was launched on June 19.

The Ministry of Finance and State Property Rights Protection Office founded the pilot platform in Hengqin of Zhuhai, South China's Guangdong province, as early as December 2014. The Hengqin International Property Rights Trade Center is in charge of operating the platform.

According to Ji Jie, general manager of the center, the core business of the platform includes intellectual property rights transaction, financial innovation and international operation of intellectual property rights. The other derived businesses include intellectual property rights services, investment and software development.

The main business includes authentication, training and research related to IPR affairs.

The pilot platform has the functions of instant messaging, community sharing, e-commerce transaction, etc.
