Eight "giants" in Zhuhai's cultural industry jointed the China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair which kicked off on May 11 at Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center.

Kimka Creative Valley, one of the eight "giants" integrating a batch of original Zhuhai brands, is a frequent attendee of the fair.

According to Ye Weixuan, general manager of the Kimka Creative Valley, the valley has joined the fair for four consecutive years since 2014. The valley first started renovating old factories and attracting investments. With "Zhuhai growth" as its motto, it has transformed into an investing and financing platform combining cultural innovation and technology.

Ye said that cultural industrial parks in Zhuhai need to attract enterprises in the sector from Hong Kong, Macao, the Pearl River Delta as well as from the entire China. The Kimka Creative Valley also wants to attract investment to jointly development the cultural industry in Zhuhai.

The Kimka Creative Valley is well prepared for the era of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, said Ye. The valley has gradually launched layouts in several cities in the Pearl River Delta including Zhongshan and Foshan cities, and docked with universities in Hong Kong and Macao and cultural industries.

We have been in contact with many universities in Hong Kong and Macao, in order to attract more entrepreneurship projects from students there, we hope they can relocate their business to Zhuhai, Ye added.
