Zhuhai holds China Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Hengqin Forum 2017

The China Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Hengqin Forum 2017 was held in southern China's Zhuhai City on Aug. 29, the website cnr.cn reports.

The forum is jointly hosted by the China Intellectual Property News, Hengqin International Intellectual Property Trading Center Co Ltd and Hengqin Federation for International Protection of Intellectual Property.

Themed IPR Operations & Financial Innovation, the forum aims to raise the awareness of IPR in the business sector and enhance the development of IPR operation modes.

He Hua, deputy director of State Intellectual Property Office, Li Zezhong, mayor of Zhuhai and Lu Xiaofeng, vice mayor of Zhuhai attended the forum along with over 500 representatives from relevant institutions.

According to Li Zezhong, Zhuhai is trying to become a hub for innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and further optimize public services on IPR, explore the coordination mechanism of cross-border trade of intellectual properties and promote communication and cooperation between professional institutions, industrial leagues, associations domestically and abroad.
